Carol Ann Parsons, passed away unexpectedly on October 21, 2024 in Lewes, Delaware. She was 60 years old. Her family and friends are deeply saddened by her sudden death. Carol is survived by her sister Denise M. Parsons of Orlando, Florida; her nephew Tim Duncan of Reading, Pa, his wife Taryn Shillady and daughter Natalie; niece Marcia Duncan of Philadelphia, Pa and her companion William Scott; sister Jarvia Fishell and husband David of Selbyville, De; niece Jennifer Peek and her husband Eric McClenny of Dudley, NC and children Devon Peek, Morgan Peek and Jaxon McClenny; her Goddaughter Catherine Gillis of Maryland and Godgrandsons William, Dillin and Cooper; life long friend of Catherine’s who Carol immediately took on as a “bonus” Goddaughter Rachael Cox and her children Lennon and Layla; maternal aunt Sue Bello of Elkton, Md; life long friends Mike Mulder of Lewes, De; and Penny Hudson of Salisbury, Md; and her fur companion Wookie. Carol is also mourned by many cousins. Carol was predeceased by her parents Douglas and Lura (Beacher) Parsons, grandparents Elwood and Anna (Dennis) Parsons, and Alfred and Emma (Beecroft) Beacher as well as her beloved cousin Linda Beacher. Carol was born on March 20, 1964 in Salisbury, Maryland and lived in Springfield, Massachusetts and Brownsville, Texas in early childhood before returning to Salisbury. She attended Wicomico Senior High School class of 1982. As an adult she resided in Salisbury, Md, Kent Island, Md and Lewes, De. Carol worked for Dresser Wayne in Salisbury, several marinas in Maryland and Delaware including as Office Manager at J and C Marine Services. She was Brand Ambassador for Advantage Solutions and most recently the Manager for CBD American Shaman in Lewes, De. Carol was an empathic and sensitive soul who was passionate about family, friends and animals . She enjoyed assisting people on their wellness journey through educating them on CBD, Reiki and was part of a community of healers and spiritual workers. One of her favorite places was to be near water and loved the beach. She lived on a house boat for 10 years. She was a “Dead Head” and also loved Jimmy Buffet music. Providing for animals in need was another passion of her’s. Carol touched many lives with her compassion and light. She will be forever missed. Carol’s life will be celebrated with a wake at a time to be determined in the future. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Humane Animal Partners Rehoboth Beach, De.
